Role Overview

As a Collections Team Lead, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing the collections process, ensuring exceptional service, and implementing transformative revenue cycle management services. This is a unique opportunity to lead and contribute to the growth of a dynamic team.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and guide the collections team in delivering exceptional service and maintaining integrity related to customer accounts.
  • Lead and guide the collections team to ensure efficient and accurate collections processes.
  • Foster a collaborative and positive team environment.
  • Streamline and optimize collections processes for increased efficiency and accuracy.
  • Implement best practices to enhance the overall revenue cycle management.
  • Monitor team performance metrics, such as collections accuracy, turnaround time, and productivity.
  • Address and resolve escalated collections issues and disputes in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve complex collections-related challenges.
  • Stay updated on changes in collections regulations and implement necessary adjustments.
  • Utilize analytical data to make informed decisions, contributing to the improvement of the collections process.
  • Take responsibility for identifying and rectifying potential coding errors in the collections process.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through effective communication and proactive problem-solving.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand evolving collections needs and adapt processes accordingly.
  • Leverage expertise in revenue cycle management to enhance the collections operations.
  • Analyze collections data and generate reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in collections processes and implement changes.
  • Encourage a culture of innovation and adaptability within the collections team.

Key Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience as a collections specialist or senior collections professional in an RCM company.
  • Completed degree/professional qualification in a related field.
  • Ability to lead and work in US shift hours (Night) – 7.30 PM to 4.30 AM.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional organizational skills; detail-oriented, thorough, dependable, trustworthy, with a positive attitude.
  • Ability to multitask effectively without compromising work quality.
